Infant Program (6 weeks - 18 months)
Our program uses the "Experience Baby" curriculum by Mother Goose Time. It is a curriculum aligned with Virginia Milestone Child Development. This curriculum supports relationship-based play and discovery. Our infant area allows infants to explore freely and to engage in movement. We provide toys that they can reach for, hold, suck on, shake, make noises-rattles, large rings, squeeze toys, teething toys, soft dolls, textured balls, and fabric books.

The following activities will take place every day according to the child’s needs, throughout the day:

-
Feeding: We feed the infants according to the daily report fille out by the parents once they leave their baby in the nursery. The daily report informs the teacher about the last feeding and change of the baby. We feed the babies upon request and work to achieve a regular breakfast, snack and lunch schedule.

-
Sleeping: Children in the infant room will nap according to their needs. Young infants sleep more than older infants. But every infant has different times and duration of napping. Infants sleep on their back to reduce the risks of SIDS.
-
Tummy Time: Infants should start tummy time at 2 weeks old with short sessions. Babies who are 2 months old will have three 5 minutes sessions daily.
-
Comfort: We do our best to give babies physical and emotional comfort, as they need it throughout the day. Positive interactions like smiling, laughing, cuddling are encouraged.
-
Outdoor Playtime: Weather permitting, the infants will have stroller rides and spend at least 20 to 30 minutes outside.
Toddlers (18 months - 36 months)
Our program uses the "Little Goose" curriculum by Mother Goose Time. This curriculum provides toddlers the freedom to explore based on their interest as they are engaged in classroom learning centers. Our staff help each child learn, at his or her own pace, physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
In order to develop high self-esteem, children are given small tasks such as taking their shoes off and putting them away as they enter the daycare. We encourage the toddlers to be able to do things by themselves safely such as toilet learning, hand washing, drinking from a cup, scooping, pouring, manners, and courtesy. etc.

Our program helps toddlers gain control of their body, develop an awareness of balance, and strength while they are playing outside using the playground equipments and playing with friends. Movement activities include exercise, dance, and both indoor and outdoor play.

Language explosion often happens at around the age of 2. This is when children almost start to talk in sentences and have increased their vocabulary. We support this by teaching them more vocabulary and becoming a good language model.

Our curriculum offers many sensorial activities to help toddlers explore the environment through their senses of the sighting, hearing, smelling, touching and tasting.
We introduce basic mathematical and scientific concepts to the children.

We also provide many art and craft activities such as painting, drawing, molding play dough, etc to help toddlers express themselves, acquire hand-eye coordination, improve their fine motor skills, etc
